Four months ago, I bombed this hill without a lid. After a couple of successful attempts, something went wrong. I fell off the mini I was using back then and hit the ground really hard. End result? Fractured skull and acute epidural hematoma. I had to stop skating for two weeks but I told myself that I gotta go back to that spot and avenge my injury which finally happened yesterday. Oh, vengeance is sweet!

I blame no one for what happened. And people have to understand that I was not used to wearing helmet because I came from street skating. Unfortunately, it was too late when I realized that what I got myself into is different. Protection is strictly encouraged in longboarding and I learned it the hard way.

I need to buy a helmet still. But i dont bomb hills yet. so im sure im fine for now.
